A landing page has one job. Most Indian service landing pages have five, which is why they convert at under one percent while a focused page reaches five or more.
The section order that works
Follow this sequence:
- Headline naming the outcome and the city
- One-line subhead with the offer and price signal
- Primary action — call and WhatsApp, side by side
- Three proof points: projects done, years, response time
- What you get, as short bullets not paragraphs
- Two real testimonials with names and businesses
- FAQ answering price, timeline and coverage area
- Repeat the action at the bottom
Write copy the customer would say
Replace 'holistic digital solutions' with 'a website that gets you enquiries from Roorkee and Haridwar'. Specific and plain always outperforms abstract and impressive.
Design for the thumb
A sticky bottom bar with Call and WhatsApp on mobile, tap targets over 44 px, and forms that ask for no more than name, phone and requirement.
Test one thing at a time
Change the headline, run it for two weeks, keep the winner. Simultaneous changes teach you nothing about why conversion moved.
Frequently asked questions
How long should a landing page be?
As long as it takes to answer price, proof and process — usually one scrollable screen plus five sections.
Form or WhatsApp?
Offer both. In India WhatsApp usually receives two to three times more enquiries.
Should video be included?
A 30-second founder video builds trust well, provided it does not delay page load.
